On June 28th, the life sciences community of Philadelphia came out in force with more than 600 attendees on campus to explore the transformation underway at Budd Bioworks. We were thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Jefferson Institute of Bioprocessing that will bring biologics training to Philadelphia right on the Budd Campus at the event.
Philadelphia City Council member Allan Domb gave a special keynote during our cocktail hour to finish an educational day full of information about the future of Philadelphia bio and our position as a leading national life sciences cluster, produced by Bisnow.
Adding to the fun and drama of these panels was a progression down the future retail and placemaking walk at Budd, a delicious lunch truck line-up and afternoon panels set amongst the backdrop of Budd Pioneer Building's vaulting ceilings and G-CON mobile lab. Philly’s favorite 7-piece band Snacktime and the mobile pop-up The Yard Bar were both on hand to celebrate the big day too.
